Why do you like cycling?
Because it gives me a sense of freedom. Getting around is simpler by bike than by car, but my work doesn’t allow me to ride my bicycle every day. When I’m cycling I always discover new faces of Budapest: the facade of the buildings, small streets…
Where would you go if your bike could take you anywhere?
To any European city where I can find a lot of nice old buildings.

What kind of bicycle do you have, and what is its story?
It’s a Schwinn-Csepel Budapest. The basket wasn’t the part of the original bike, but I need it, so a friend of mine, Aurél Víg installed it. Aurel was a professional bicycle racer, multiple record holder and a Hungarian champion for life, so it is an honour that he is my bike mechanic. He was struggling with my cheap Chinese basket for two hours, which was pretty funny seeing the very expensive premium racing bicycles and parts in the shop.

It’s a Camping bicycle which was once painted red, its former glory has been preserved only in traces, and it is a few years older than me. I got it as a present from a very nice friend of mine.
